FareCo Archive runs on your computer, with a browser interface for working with your local archive.
Core browsing, search, viewing, and descriptions do not require optional AI. Accessing and editing your private archive requires valid activation; internet access is needed to activate.
Preservation also involves ongoing care. Read the guidance on caring for your archive and keeping independent backups.
An optional enhancement
AI supports exploration.
Optional AI can help interpret selected archive information. It does not replace your saved descriptions or establish an uncertain identity, date, or historical fact.
Online AI requires an internet connection and the applicable access conditions. Your question and selected archive context may be sent to the configured service. Answers can be incomplete or wrong.
